Water Testing Available
City of Hart's BioPure facility offers water sample testing for both nitrate and coliform bacteria.
Location: 2687 N 88th Ave Hart, MI 49420
Receiving Hours: Monday - Friday 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Cost: $28.00 per sample until May 1st, 2026, when the cost will increase to $32.50 per sample.
*As of March 2nd, 2026, late fees have been applied to accounts that are over 30 days due.
Lab will be closed on holidays. Total Coliform samples will be run immediately. Nitrate samples will be run on Tuesday's and Thursdays only.

Please be sure to have bottles & chain of custody form filled out completely.
Sample kits are hanging in the drop off area.
Green Bottle: Nitrate testing must be on ice. A Ziplock bag with a few ice cubes is acceptable. Holding time is 48 hours.
White Bottle: Coliform Bacteria - Holding time 30 hours
